"The host was friendly and helpful, but I suggest a review of the needs of a traveler be re-considered as the space is very basic eg no extra cutlery, glassware, plates or coffee mugs if inviting visitors to the room. One hand towel only was provided. Self - catering essentials to support the traveler were minimal eg no cooking spray or oil. No cushions, no extra pillows to provide additional comfort. Shampoo, conditioner and soap also minimal. "

"Beautiful cottage. Pretty and quaint. Gardens beautiful. Position of house it is adjacent to was a spoiler for us. We were envisioning sitting out looking over valley enjoying view, not rooftop so close.The hostess was very hospitable and had put beautiful roses in room. Not being able to go for a nice bush walk was disappointing. For relaxation and comfort though this was exceptional. "

"The cottage is lovely and the owner was very personable. Our only disappointment was the breakfast provisions. We thought if we had been tourists staying in the Huon we would have expected some lovely local produce. Instead it was just Coles brand items. The facilities are very nice though and it was perfect for what we needed."

"The host was very welcoming and explained everything to us as we were guided to our accomodation. What a lovely surprise, a deck to view the rolling hills and river from, step inside this 1840 exquisite building and first thing that greets you is a cask of port with enough in it for 6 tipples sitting on that lovely deck (which also has a bbq btw). The bed was amazingly comfortable and the area is very peaceful. The host also suppies the many books he has written and published and he has copies...
