Socrates, the staff manager, is the highlight of this hotel. He offered us a complimentary room upgrade and took the time to provide us useful tour information and advice about visiting the islands. The hotel is very clean. The breakfast was good, but perhaps not quite a four star level breakfast. The hotel owners might consider dropping the advertisement of the rooms having balconies as they are tiny, useful mostly for hanging clothes to dry and with a view toward other buildings where others are likewise hanging their clothes to dry. Our travel mates stayed in another room and were equally impressed with Socrates; they had no interest in having a balcony with a view and so it did not bother them. Some reviewers said that the rooms are not sound proofed and that road noise makes it hard to sleep. We heard nothing and slept soundly. The airport shuttle service was reasonably priced and professional. We stayed on floor 3 and our travel mates were on floor 4.

Great, small, quiet hotel. Very good breakfast. Just close enough to all of the historical sights, a short walk away but in a very quiet neighborhood. Walking up the final hill to the hotel with luggage not recommended, and this comes from someone who walks everywhere! lol

Central location that was easily walkable to various shopping and restaurant areas Rooftop bar served us a delicious dinner and a fabulous view of the Acropolis Our room was very clean and quiet with spacious bathroom with plenty of hot water when showering The complimentary bottle of wine and assorted snacks was a perfect welcome
