"I saw the coffee station dirty a few times. One male staff walked away after seeing me approaching the kitchen area. All I wanted to ask for was water for making coffee. There was none on the table in the hallway. I had a very bad headache and as I stayed in the hotel while dealing with my son’s funeral. The front desk Spanish girl was very nice, pleasant and courteous. "

"The pillows were terrible and gone beyond usage for a hotel. There was also a dirty one left in the cupboard with stains from previous guests on it. The floor above our room was very noisy, which meant the insulation is not very good, which contributed to noise disturbance in our room."

"The hotel is beautiful and the rooms are well appointed. We got a complimentary upgrade to a suite which was nice. The staff was very efficient with requests and were polite. Admittedly, the neighborhood leaves much to be desired but it is close to the subway and there are a lot of recognized food options very near by. Even though the area was full of a cast os characters, we never felt unsafe and didn't have any issues with the locals. I would stay there again."

"Property is actually in very nice shape. Very clean and safe.. outside is another thing. This is nothing against the hotel.. they are where they are. Comming back from a concert in MSG it was a fast walk from the metro to the hotel. And it was a scary walk… Another good thing was there is a parking lot right accrossnyhe street that has 24/7 security so I felt safe leaving my car there."
