"Going by motorcycle from Ninh Binh to Phong Nha, one can make a stop halway and use this hotel as your stop. The owner is extremely friendly, inviting me for both dinner and breakfast, and driving me around. A real personal touch. The place itself is functional, let's say, worth the price Vietnam style. Nevertheless, I had a cultural stayover! "

"It's a beautiful property in the middle of tea farmland. Very peaceful and quiet except for the rooster(s) before dawn. I had a private room with a dedicated bathroom. It was very comfortable. On the menu for dinner was traditional Vietnamese cuisine. Very delicious. Recommended."

"The drawcard of this place is its local to the train station. It’s right across the road from a local market and a reasonable restaurant and coffee shop next door. It’s about a half hour walk to the main shopping area. Our room was simple and plain. It was musty and damp. Smelt damp. But apart from that it was clean. "
