Not as advertised. Owner difficult to deal with and unit needs to be cared for better. You
We would give this condo a zero if we could. We walked into an unlocked condo, key left inside. The owner said she would meet us there and she never showed up. On arrival the carpet was very, very dirty and stained badly as the previous guest put in his review. We immediately went through VRBO to complain and get the owner to steam clean the carpets and discuss the other dirty aspects of the condo. She got someone in the next day to steam clean but refused to clean the hallway carpet for a small fee, which would have been the whole condo. When I talked to her about it over the phone through carpet cleaner phone she now was wanting to cancel the cleaning and said she may even kick us out because we were bothering her. To future guests you have us to thank for the clean carpet minus the hallway. Also, the owner doesn’t respond quickly to emails and won’t give her phone number when asked. The number on her site is wrong, it is never answered. She advertises cable and there is none, just like the previous renter said in his review. The ad says it sleeps 7, only 2 queen beds and two small couches. The ad says 2 pools, 1 was being redone so closed and the other pool was freezing cold and the spa was dirty. The stovetop burner holders were rusted out and the oven was very dirty. There are cooking pans etc but they are so rusted out and disgusting. She said she would have her cleaning lady come back after I spent 2 hours cleaning her unit, including all the baseboards. Pictures, glass wine decanters and cupboards caked in dust and the white doors were all dirty as well. She went off VRBO while we were there for 2 weeks so you can’t reach her. We had no way to reach her while we were there. She went back on VRBO the last day to tell us where to put the key. We asked for a later checkout too as our flight was cancelled that morning and we had to find a way out but she changed her story 3 times why she couldn’t accommodate us. She then offered to juggle around her “cleaning crew” if we paid her $150 more for an extra 6 hours. She even sent the bill over VRBO. When we asked her about a reimbursement for the pools and cable she never responded. In the end about checking with her crew she said she’d let us know and never did. This owner has a long way to go on how to treat guests who would treat someone else’s home like their own. Plus, this condo doesn’t have a lot of restaurants nearby either. One of the worst experiences on VRBO ever. New guests beware.
