"I arrived very late at night (2300). I tried to call the hotel to let them know but was unable to contact the hotel - the phone number wasn’t correct, so when I arrived the gate was closed. "When trying to check in receptionist kept asking if I booked with agoda she didn't even check on her computer. The manager came and said he couldn't find my reservation, then later he was able to find it.The room smelled like cigarette smoke and the room was super noisy."

Verified traveller

City well located to see all three Plain of Jars sites which are all eye opening and involve some nice walks. Mines Advisory Group centre in town worth a visit to open eyes on the devastation of bombing on Laos in the 'forgotten war'.
