"Room was missing details for a 4 star hotel. Did not have a coffee maker or kettle in the room. Had to ask reception to provide us with two normal glasses and a coffee cups. Smell of damp in the bathroom but other then that room was clean. Breakfast not enough staff to cater for restaurant size. Items take too long to be replace when finished . Indoor pool needs to be warmer as was cold ."

"This property is wonderfully situated near the tip of Ortigia overlooking the water in the back. Easy walk to restaurants and shopping. The property lives up to it's name - full of character and quirky spaces - indoors and on the multiple terraces. The breakfast was very good. Driving guests need to use the valet service which requires an hour lead time to access the car. But that wasn't an issue for us. We really liked this place. "
