Impeccably designed and recently refurbished for the year 2023, the expansive open-plan living space boasts abundant natural light streaming through its generous windows. Sink into the plush sofa, complete with Smart TV and complimentary Wi-Fi for the duration of your stay.

Discover a spacious and well-equipped kitchen, with all mod cons needed for a self-catering stay. Perfect location
Had a really lovely few days , lovely apartment and great location. Short walk down to village, we were fortunate to be there when Christmas lights were turned on and had snow. Loved it

The apartment was stunning and comfortable close to local amenities and surroundings where also stunning . Had conversations with Richard the estates and grounds person always cheerful and friendly loved my stay There was nothing to not like could not pick fault

A very smart apartment in an historic mill. Beds were comfortable. The tv signal was poor but streaming apps were better. The kitchen was well equipped with high end appliances. Sofa was a little small but the rocking chair was a nice addition. The grassy area across the car park was great to exercise the dog. A short walk to the village alongside the pretty beck, had pubs with good food and coffee shops etc. Well positioned for York and the coast. We went on the historic railway to Whitby, visited Castle Howard and Nunnington Hall and drove to Robin Hoods bay and Scarborough. All reasonable distances to travel. A good five days break in North Yorkshire.

Beautiful spacious and homely property in fabulous location.
The property was spacious and modern. The garden was great for exploring and we had fantastic window seats with gorgeous views. Location was lovely. Apartment below us left dogs baking all afternoon and eve until 1:30 am. No one to contact as office was shut over the weekend. Cups and utensils were not clean. Fridge wasn’t clean. Bedroom window seats had lots of hairs, had not been cleaned. No welcome supplies such as coffee&#47tea etc which would have been nice after a long journey, rather than having to go shopping for some.

As a seasoned self catering user this apartment has been renovated to the highest of standards,it is located in a tranquil valley just back from a lively little village with basic amenities but ideal for the moors,Whitby,Pickering,Scarborough plus many more attractions the area has to offer. The bathroom could do with a little TLC.Impressions were that the apartment has been let out immediately from renovation and is now ready for minor snagging in the bathroom. The main disappointment for a property such as this is the TV does not hold terrestrial stations and once logged in via apps still freezes frequently.

The old mill has flair.
Really nice, clean apartment in a charming location. The old mill has flair. It has been mentioned here several times: the equipment with the bare necessities is pretty poor and leaves a lot to be desired. Exactly counted toilet paper, half a dishcloth (actually cut in half!), and I don't even want to mention salt and pepper. There is practically nothing. We found that quite disappointing and somehow a bit unloving. Furthermore, the many windows can only be opened a few centimeters and despite the thick walls it got very warm very quickly.
