"Hotel in the jungle with a rustic charm. Room was good with a comfortable bed. Lots of ants in the room initially but I suppose being in the jungle that’s to be expected! Restaurant food was plentiful and delicious. We stayed three nights and we didn’t get bored as there was a good varied choice -buffet or the a la cart menu-. Pool towels available and the attendant keeps the pool side nice a clean, especially with his endless battle with cleaning fallen leaves up. Bar staff were very friendly...

"Staff was excellent. She made special vegetarian food for me. Lot of greenery. Room is ok not that great. Too many insects because of bushes and trees all around the property. Gieco running on the floor of the room. Had to go to the front desk every time for service. No phone/TV in the room. No light switch above the bed. Had to go to the front door to turn off lights and walk in the dark to the bed. Not convenient at all."

"Perfect location when visiting Sigiriya Rock Fortress. The staff were so lovely, friendly and helpful. I stayed a few days, so after Sigiriya rock they recommend other locations I could visit and which buses to get. The food for dinner was amazing and such huge portions!!! 😅 The room was great, good ac, and a mosquito net over the comfy bed. "

"My husband and I thought this was really neat. It's almost as though we were in the middle of the jungle. Gorgeous garden and pool. You'll also see some monsters, frogs and lizard! Staff were very v friendly we arrived almost 10pm our first night and they were willing to serve us dinner! We were grateful after a long day with no food! We would recommend it if you're in sigiriya! "

"Enjoyed our 2 nights here. Room was clean, spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was plentiful and had many choices! Property is serene and feels wonderful. The view from the pool and dining area of Lions Rock is fabulous. Many choices of restaurants in the area within 10 minutes walking. We ate a la carte dinner one night in the hotel restaurant and thought it was great - vegetable curries with rice, vegetable spring rolls and nasi goreng. We also walked to Lions Rock and on to Pidurangala...

"We had three nights here. The temperature during the day was very hot and humid, as were the nights. Hibiscus villa has air conditioning and a fridge, which helped to make our stay comfortable. Service is very helpful. We needed a car and driver and this was arranged for us at short notice. Better to give a few days notice. Breakfast on the patio, surrounded by fruit trees and other plants was nice. Room is basic, but comfortable. If you choose to stay here you will be well looked after. "

"Was reluctant to book this hotel after reading some of the negative reviews. We were so pleasantly surprised. The treehouse was beautiful clean, comfortable and in a beautiful property where elephants, monkeys, buffalo and fire flys can be seen <3 Even with nature, is close to amenities and the manager Mahinda ordered good priced tuktuks takinf us to a lovely area for dinner, which was catered for the foreign tourist and the food delicious and vibe amazing :) to top it all off i had an injury...
