"The place was so amazing, with its majestic views and amenities. The drive up to this please on it own its an adventure, be sure to get a 4x4 vehicle, And use a loca gps app (i recomend Waze). Google maps send us up a wrong hill and caused us to get stuck in the mud. Likely the property managers came to our aid and got us out of the pickle, thanks very much Hugo and family. For any outdoors lovers, for does looking for tue PURA VIDA experience, we totally recommend the lookout casita at the edge...

"Federico was the perfect host. The accommodations was very nice and clean and spa like.The surrounding area was amazing. Breakfast and dinner was available and was very good. Staff were nice and very helpful. Close to Tarcoles Bridge and Carrara National Park. Great opportunity to see birds and monkeys.I would highly recommend. Also the host went above and beyond to assist. I would definitely go back."

"This place is an older home but it is clean. There is amazing woodwork throughout the house. It is secluded and quiet. The kitchen is well stocked with paper towels. 😀 No paper towels or napkins at any of the places we stayed except this place. I guess I am pretty dependent on my paper towels. "

"Property is as described. It's dated but well cared for. The caretaker is great. PLEASE note. Last few kilometers of road are not paved...we had 4x4's was fine. Closest supermarket is a 40 minute - hour drive. Beach isn't the best for swimming but totally remote and private. We loved this place. "

"We enjoyed staying at Casa Mango. True to it's name, there are mangos hanging off the big tree ready to eat or as we did, make mango margaritas! "The house is old but kept clean and cozy. It is at a high position on the mountain with a good view of the forest and the ocean. "The house was gorgeous and was exactly what was reported. The pool was incredible and the views were spectacular! The place was secluded which gave us opportunity to see and hear the birds, monkeys and frogs. The only downside is the 3.5mile gravel road to get there. It was rough and took us about 20 minutes to get to it once we left the main road. "
