We grilled out, had a chef come and fix us dinner and several days of pit luck. Daily trips to the surrounding hilltop towns of Todi, Orvieto, Spello, Sienna, and Florence one day. "This is a very large apartment in a 500 year old well maintained building. It is in the beautiful historic area. Do be aware that this is a VERY hilly area and you will have to walk up and down steep streets everywhere you go. That includes from the parking area. Cars are restricted from the area around the apartment without a permit. "

"Until you arrive and explore the warmth of Il belpoggio su Todi, pictures don't do it justice. Owner and host Federico was a great communicator. He was helpful and able to give to give us guidance leading up to our arrival and throughout our stay."

"The house and location are perfect for a family holiday, the pool is lovely and there are plenty of covered areas in the garden in which to relax when the sun gets too hot! The proprietors are very accommodating and fixed any issues (washing machine failed during our stay) immediately. The only thing to be aware of is that the region near the lake does suffer from mosquitoes which come out in the evening - so take repellent with you as it’s expensive in Italy!"

"Very satisfied with this choice of hotel in Oriveto. We arrived in the evening after 9 PM. No Uber or Taxi service. we contacted the Hotel and they immediately located a driver who whisked up to this lovely property which is 5 minutes to the Square and less than 10 to the Duomo. No hesitation recommending this hotel which is just as it appears in photos and is good value. "
