The location is absolutely stunning and quiet. The temperatures were high but there was a pleasant wind during the day. To visit some of the very beautiful towns in Val d’Orcia it’s great. There were a few things that were not so great: a lot of wasps around the pool, a broken table outside and broken/missing insect screens in the rooms. After notifying the person in charge they sent someone to take a look at it all directly, which was great. The insect screens couldn’t be solved right away. The biggest disappointment were the aircon systems which generate a lot of noise and aren’t powerful enough to cool the rooms. These are the type of systems without an exterior unit. For the rest, highly recommended!

Fantastic place

Fantastic place. We rented the small studio apartment, which is adequate for 2 people. The surroundings and the view is nothing less than fantastic. The caretaker, Gianmario, does not speak English very well, but he is very good at explaining how things work anyway. He is extremely helpful and nice. The house is situated right on the edge of Val d'Orcia with a breathtaking view the minute you open your eyes in the morning.

It was exquisite, clean, attended to, and classy.

OMGoodnes! This place was wonderful. It was splendid! Yes, it was clean. Yes, it had the normal or usual amenities. It also had a fully functioning kitchen, outdoors grill and a common area laundry room. The views were breathtaking. It was truly a home away from home. This was the best way to experience Tuscany. It was everything I had imagined and much much more.
