"The pictures of this property do not do it justice! This cute, super clean mid century modern chalet has everything you could ever need. The beds were super comfortable, the main spaces for gathering were inviting and cozy. The views out each window are a visibly stunning green space. There is easy access to all the wineries in the area. I would definitely stay there again."

Amazing getaway

"Stayed here for a solo birthday trip to explore sleeping bear dunes and the surrounding areas. Brooke and Robin were amazing hosts, great communication. The Caboose was so charming, well equipped with anything I may have needed. Waking up and having breakfast and coffee here was a great start to the day before going sightseeing. Returning after a long day and relaxing was peaceful. The location is second to none, minutes walk from the dune climb or Glen lake access. Within a 40 minute drive of all the key spots to see in that area, which seems endless. Who wouldn't want to stay in a train caboose? It was amazing! "

NIcely located property

"Great location and views. Pleasantly surprised that it was air conditioned as I had not picked that up in the description. There was a recliner in one of the photos but it is no longer there, and that would have been nice to have. Could use some updating of kitchen utensils and cookware. Outdoor patio area also could use some updating. We had a couple of issues with the cable TV and the air conditioning but the property manager was very helpful and the problems were quickly resolved. Overall, it was a positive experience."

Excellent location, beautiful lakes

"This house is in the perfect location - close to everything. The lakes (Little Glen and Big Glen) are beautiful and peaceful and we thoroughly enjoyed our time. We rented a boat one day from the nearby marina. Loved paddling in Little Glen and over to Big Glen. The dune climb is 7 minutes away. Very close to Glen Arbor, so running into town for groceries or ice cream was really easy/not stressful. Large lawn - we brought corn hole with us - plenty of space. The house was spacious and fit all 10 of us perfectly. Only two bathrooms but we made it work. Ample parking. Communication with the property managers was very easy. The house was cleaned before we arrived, but it was still a little dirty (the floors in particular). The mattresses in most beds were uncomfortable. It is an old cottage. Lots of hot water that never ran out. Just wished the house was cleaner and for some wished the mattresses were more comfortable. Because of the proximity to everything and the gorgeous lakes, I would recommend this house."
