Great hotel for the price. Loved it

Hotel is decent. When we got there employees were on strike so there was no pool available, rooms were only being cleaned once a week and we had to ask for extra toilet paper and such when needed at the front desk.. parking was free due to other things not being available which was okay, should just be free always. Room was clean but AC unit didn't always work, bathroom fan didn't work. Elevator was broken one day and a pipe was leaking in the ceiling in the hallway (not in our room). Noise from planes not to bad and didn't effect sleeping. Bed comfort was okay, pillows where quiet soft. Overall a fine place to stay decently close to Vancouver

I really enjoyed my stay here. The staff I encountered were incredibly nice, not pushy, and I cannot for the life of me remember her name but whoever the young lady was on January 14th 2025 at about 11:30am, thank you for checking me in early. Room was a bit dated, but the bed was comfy and everything was clean, so who cares about decor? One thing I will mention, the washroom door was a sliding one, and there wasn't a lock on it. Walls were a little bit thin and I did get woken up around 4am by a dog in the adjacent room, but it quieted down right away and didn't bother the rest of my visit. Housekeeping is kind and efficient. The restaurant in the hotel is pretty nice! Though there is a "room service" button available on the phones, it is technically a call-and-pick-up service, but it is nice to just get a call back that my food is ready and be able to bill it to the room. I got the clubhouse and fries my first night in, which was nice, and then a chicken burger for my last day. Both were very good, and I feel the value is actually pretty decent for what you pay (I paid ~$35 after tip for each meal). The hotel was walkable from everything I wanted to see, and a decent distance from the Skytrain. I wouldn't take the train with checked baggage, but it was a fine walk for me and my little carry on. The surrounding area was fairly quiet after 10-11pm, and you don't hear much from in the rooms except the occasional engine revving around that time. Overall, a nice stay!

Room was great. Large, clean, and modern at reasonable rate. Excellent service. Restaurants were excellent.
