"This was one of the most beautiful Corsican hotels I stayed at while touring Corsica. I’d go back in a heartbeat. The staff was amazing - so helpful and friendly. Unfortunately upon check out my bank card did not work in their card reader. They said the payment was declined. I did make alternatives but later when I contacted my financial institution, they informed me it was the card reader at the hotel that was not working. This was unfortunate. "The stay in Casa di L'Alivu was excellent! The host is very friendly and helpful and the check-in and checkout was very comfortable. The room - we had the maisonette suite - was much to our liking. "We had a 2 bedroom apartment. The unit was spacious and clean. The kitchen has a dishwasher but is a little short on utensils. Maybe most guest bring this sort of thing but as we are from Canada we had to rely on what was there. The furniture was Roche Bobois but it wasn't as comfortable as I expected. There are also strict rules about cleaning up before you check out with fines attached. We didn't expect this and there were no cleaning supplies although the hotel notice indicates there are....
