"Ideal location for the good quality golf courses in the area. Whilst this is a good property there were a few areas that we thought could be improved on. We arrived on a Sunday evening and shops are closed in France. A welcome pack with a few essentials would be appreciated. Listing on VRBO advised that towels were provided, none in the gite, not even a tea towel for drying up. "We only have 5+ remarks for our stay! The host was terrific...nice and very responsive. The property is an oasis of beautifully manicured nature. It is a large piece of property that is secure, private and well taken care of. It was like camp for the children between being able to safely roam freely, ride provided bikes, utilize the pool/climbing structure/trampoline and more! The house is fantastic and really well built. Lots of great open space with wonderful natural light and huge windows....

"A excellent little place right in the middle of bourbourg, I found it quite convenient having travelled into Calais by ferry quite late in the evening, this was a quick drive from Calais, the place isn't well signed so it's easy to miss but they texted me a picture of the hotel beforehand so I found It with relative ease, the check in and check out process was easy, tidy little room ideal for one or two travellers, tidy clean bathroom with a nice shower, overall a great stay. "

"First of all Damien & his wife were very welcoming & friendly and throughout all communications were clear and responded to quickly. The house is very well equipped, with nothing required or needed and the welcome gift of wine & honey was a real treat (we went to visit the seller/provide of the honey to buy some to take home, as it was that good). The garden is bigger than even the pictures suggest and is well maintained and beautiful with all the facilities regards varying chairs to sit & lie...
