"I didn’t realize that the property was far from the strip. Expedia said 18 min walk but the walk is down many streets. There are no restaurants nearby, we had to hop in the car to get anywhere. It was a close drive to carvoeiro downtown and a good location to do hiking but everything must be accessed with a car. "The beach house is in a great location and the pool is lovely. Overall we enjoyed our stay. The outside door is incredibly noisy though and woke us up with the first guests leaving every morning . Also the key stoped working at least once a day so lots of trips up to reception which got annoying. It’s a shame because otherwise it was a lovely place to stay. The pillows could use an upgrade. "
