"My wife and I can’t say enough about this place. Greenwood Plantation Bed and Breakfast is PERFECT in every sense of the word. The location is perfect if you want a quiet, serene place to relax. Beautiful and well maintained property with the most beautiful views from the bed and breakfast porch. The mansion and the oak trees are breathtaking. The owners, Hal and Julie, are some of the nicest people we’ve ever met. They go above and beyond to make your stay pleasant and they provide you with the most thoughtful little details to make sure you have everything you need to enjoy your stay. The room was impeccable and the breakfast was absolutely perfect. Thank you, Stacy!😊 We enjoyed every second of our stay and we will be back for sure!!!"

"It was good overall but the lock is electronic and it didn’t want to work so three times we were stuck outside for 20 minutes. Also, no where on the listing did it say the place was on the second floor with no elevator. "

"I recently had the pleasure of staying in the cottage at Rosemont Plantation, and it was an experience I’ll cherish for a long time. The cottage was wonderfully comfortable and provided every amenity I needed, making it feel like a home away from home. I was surrounded by rich history, with each part of the grounds steeped in stories of the past. The property itself is beautifully maintained, with expansive and picturesque grounds that invite peaceful walks and moments of reflection. The property manager was incredibly kind and helpful, always ready to assist with any questions or needs I had. A highlight of my stay was meeting the owner, who generously shared stories and the history of the plantation, including insights into the life of Jefferson Davis, adding depth to my experience. I wholeheartedly recommend a stay here to anyone who appreciates history, natural beauty, and a touch of Southern hospitality. It was a truly wonderful and memorable experience"

"This would have been a great stay but the management did not say that there was a lot of construction being done on the hotel. My wife and I walked to our room to find a bunch of workers in most of the rooms. This was very unsettling because they were in every room but ours and it was a mess. Once we entered our room it didn’t get any better, it was not clean at all and the shower did not drain. The microwave was there but not close to a plug. I had to rearrange the room in order for the microwave to work as well as plugging in a lamp on my wife’s side of the bed. We were really disappointed in this because the employees there were very polite. I do not feel that we should have been charged what we were being that all this was going on and without notice, if we were warned we would have stayed at a different hotel. Only because of the construction mainly but the shower and dirtyness did add to it. "
