"A great place to return to after a busy day out. I was looking for a place to relax and this home was PERFECT! Listening to the water out the back was a wonderful addition to my morning coffee on the deck. Richard and Diane are wonderful hosts and were available my entire time for anything I needed and were more than helpful with my needs. A wonderful stay and highly recommend!"

"We stayed at this lovely property for two nights while visiting our son at ETSU. The house was very clean. We really enjoyed the rocking chairs and propane fireplace on the back porch. It was wonderful to sit out there in the mornings with our coffee. It rained a bit during our visit, so we didn’t get to make use of the fire pit. "We've had our eye on this property for years and were thrilled to see it open as a rental. It's in our favorite part of the lake. There is a gradual slope, with the house not far from the water. No mile-high stairs to climb like so many houses on Watauga. They have done an amazing job of renovating everything and making this a family home.
