"I loved that it was very close to all the little shops in Mt Dora. And it had it's own little old style it was nice and quite and very peaceful. The lake was beautiful in the morning. "

"Great value for the money. Beautiful view, my daughter loved feeding the ducks and turtle by the lake. Cute picnic area. The staff was super friendly and the housekeeping staff responded to requests promptly. Everything was clean in the room and well maintained. The outside was picked up and free from litter. There are residents on the property and some were outside socializing with each other. They were not vulgar or rude, they were quite friendly. I imagine this is what bothers a lot of reviewers giving this property low ratings. This is the reality of the US economy right now. Any motel/hotel at this price point will have long term guests."
