Charlotte was a wonderful host. She resolved a problem we had with the TV almost immediately. The unit was located right on hole 2 of Pinehurst #5 which was really nice. Highly recommend her place!

Amazing Stay!

Puzzling Thermostat

The place was adequate for two old-timers, but too small for any more people. The thermostat on the wall was a very newish high-techy device which we could not figure out how to operate. So, we were unable to turn on any heat all week. Fortunately, we had mild weather. The AC turned on at 74 degrees so that was OK. But no heat at night meant it was cold. We used the extra blankets. jld

Perfect Pinehurst Hideaway

We loved this little condo! It was beautifully equipped, immaculate, centrally located, and charming. We didn’t do any cooking because we were hanging at our friends’ homes in Pinehurst everyday but the kitchen also appeared to have everything you might need. We hope to be back if available when we visit again in the future.

Great Location and Clean

We enjoyed our weekend stay. The unit was as described. Very clean and very well organized. The view of the golf course was great and the close proximity to the villages of Pinehurst was convenient for us. We walked across the street to the Track Restaurant and had a delicious breakfast by the Harness Track. Great place for a weekend stay.

Nice cozy place - a little road noise

We stayed here for 2 nights. It’s a good location, but we didn’t consider walking into the village because you would have to cross a busy road and there are no sidewalks. It’s pretty close to Beulah Hill Rd. so there’s a fair amount of traffic. The noise wasn’t bad for us, but it might bother some. This is the only reason I’m only giving it 4 stars. The pictures also led us to believe there was a dining area on the screened in porch, but the 2 pictures of a dining table are the same table inside the condo.

Not what I hoped for

Location: The unit is less than forty yards from busy highway 5 and a railroad track. You will hear traffic, sirens and freight trains at various times of the day and night (including after midnight). You will also hear your upstairs neighbors. While it is accurate to list many locations as within walking distance, they are NOT SAFELY WALKABLE sites. It is a very busy road with no sidewalks, no shoulder and no foot paths to safely walk along. Unit: After the “safety broom stick lock” was removed from the track of the sliding patio door to the deck I found the door track was full of dead flies. As it turned out, the frame to the screen door was bent at the lock as if someone had tried to break in. This left over an inch gap in the screen door so that the choice was don’t use the door to have fresh air or use it and allow the flies in. The shower/tub combo had missing and moldy caulking and the shower liner curtain was stained along the bottom six inches with a orangish growth. Most bothersome was the dirty floors. After one evening of walking around barefoot my feet were so filthy that I chose to wear shoes in the unit for the remainder of my stay. I did not contact the host during my stay. My issues with the location could not be changed. I decided that even if available I did not want maintenance repair or cleaning done during my stay and I left a day early.

Fall Break Golf Getaway

Property as described, owner very responsive. Outstanding location for Pinehurst resort users, short walk to Clubhouse, The Cradle, Thistle Due and other golf amenities. Could use some updates but cozy spot with convenient location and golf views.

Was surprised that property was out of coffee k cups and no tissue paper. Also, might want to replace a number of the electrical outlets. They see to be worn out. Had trouble making plug in power connecrions. Everything overall was good

Girls' Getaway to Pinehurst

The condo is well decorated with a convenient location. Charlotte has it fully stocked - truly a home away from home! My friend stayed there for a girls' spa weekend, and it suited our needs perfectly. We enjoyed walks for exercise, plus all the charm of Pinehurst. The condo is older but well maintained. There are a few things that needed fixing, but Charlotte was responsive and helpful. She is an excellent host.

Location was ideal for US Open and would be for any visit to Pinehurst. Unit is older but very well maintained and very clean. Owner was easy to communicate with and very helpful. Would definitely stay here again.

Sisters weekend

Enjoyed Charlotte's Perched in Pinehurst. Property was nicely decorated, clean and great location. My sister and I had a lovely weekend in Pinehurst/Southern Pines. We didn’t cook but the kitchen appeared to have everything required to prepare meals. We were literally minutes to restaurants and shops in both in Pinehurst and Southern Pines. Would definitely return.

Perfect for Fair Barn event

Great Weekend Retreat

This property was perfect for a short weekend away for the 2 of us. Everything was very clean and a booklet on the kitchen counter provided all information we needed. Shortly after arrival, which was later in the evening, we ran into an issue and texted our host. She immediately called and offered several suggestions until the issue could be fully addressed the next day. Throughout, communication and responsiveness was excellent.
