The location is perfect for those wanting to do the Hatfield McCoy Trail systems. Felt like less than a mile to the Pinnacle Creek trailhead. Pinnacle Creek took us one day(6-6.5 hours) to do all the trails, then. The next day hit the connector to Indian Ridge (10 hour day). The road is busy that this place sits on, but it is close to town and the trails, so it works! Literally a 30 sec ride from rec fuel, diesel, and wash station. Also has occasional people out front fishing. So it's not as private and remote if that's what your looking for. The stairs seem tedious when your unloading/loading but after that it's fine. We loved the location, parking room, the amenities, wifi was great (you'll need it, no cell service with Verizon) and how amazing the host was! The host Cheyenne was very responsive and super sweet, we were so pleased with that, and really appreciate it! So recap- if your looking for secluded West Virginia luxury, this ain't it. If your looking for real, convenient, practical West Virginia trail riding experience, this is it.
