8/10
The villa was immaculate, pristine clean and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The villa is divided into 2 separate top and bottom apartments. The view from the top was beautiful. The view from the bottom is a little obscured. The cute town of Portoroz is a short walk from the villa, but the hill on which the villa is located is steep. Descending is fine but the climb up requires decent stamina especially on a hot day. Portoroz has some lovely restaurants and boutiques. Note that the beach which, again, is at the bottom of the hill, so very close, is a rocky beach so water shoes are highly recommended. Whilst Portoroz is entirely self sufficient in amenities, there is a bus that will take you the short ride to Piran which is a beautiful little medieval town again with plenty of restaurants and boutiques. The ride is 1 euro each way and the bus stop is at the bottom of the hill. Neither of the 2 towns are big so really easy to walk around and not overcrowded for mid-June.
