"The Kames hotel is in fabulous location overlooking Bute and a great base for exploring. We spent a week here and still so much to see. The hotel is lovely blend of old and modern - rooms were spotlessly clean, comfortable and well furnished. We are each night in the restaurant and enjoyed great variety of delicious meals . The owner and staff are warm, welcoming and friendly. Our dog was made welcome too! "

"Enjoyed our stay at the Royal Hotel. The front desk staff as well as he staff at the attached Black Sheep Pub and the Harbourview Grill were lovely. We had a large room with a view of the marina. Breakfast wa included in the morning and went above a beyond the typical complimentary hotel breakfast. I am hoping to return to Campbeltown and will book the Roal Hotel again."
