"It was only an overnight stay, and the room was a bit spartan. However, it was quite clean and everything worked well. One a very minor problem, as noted by others, is that the toilet required a long flush or multiple flushes. My problem is that I forgot to ask for additional towels. I checked in at night and by the time I noticed that I need extra towels, I didn't think anyone would be around who could fulfill that request."

"Ok this view is 12/10 morning, noon, and night. On the driveway: I can see how it might worry some people but it wasn't that bad. I had a Yukon (pretty long) and could five point turn it around to get it turned. The trick is to turn left slightly and then pull all the way forward as far as you can. This gives plenty of space. Beautiful cabin and fun selection of movies. We were born in 78 and 80 and the movies were perfect for our era. Our teens were happy too! We definitely plan to come back when we can stay for longer instead of just a stopover night. "

"Excellent Stay at the Pine House – Peaceful, Spacious, and Perfectly Located
We had a wonderful experience at the Pine House in Black Mountain. It’s a great and quiet space—perfect for relaxing and recharging. The two spacious bedrooms and two full bathrooms made it extremely comfortable for our stay. Everything was spotlessly clean and beautifully decorated, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere from the moment we walked in.
The house was also incredibly functional, with thoughtful touches throughout that made it feel like home. Parking was easy and convenient, and the location couldn’t have been better—just minutes from town and close to all the local shops, restaurants, and amenities.
We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful and well-appointed place in Black Mountain."

"Our stay was wonderful and met all our needs. It was a cute bungalow located close to town so we didn’t have to drive far to get to all the restaurants and boutique shops. The fenced in yard was awesome for our small dog and the hot tub was definitely a bonus. . . . Loved it!! Also, when communicating with Andrea, our host, she was always genuine and easy to reach. I would definitely stay here again. Thank you!"
