"No complaints about the property. Everything was nice, staff members very friendly and accommodating. BUT property address did not show up on the navigation system on our rental car, and Google Map kept giving us wrong directions. By the time we reached the property, it was late and we were exhausted. Reception talked to the restaurant on property, and we were able to have fine dinner before their kitchen closed. Unless you enjoy long walks, driving to Terme di Saturnia (hot springs)...

"A great experience to stay in a Renaissance castle, a real museum during the day. The manager has excellent communication skills, was very helpful and kind. Parking is near, the hotel will sell you daily vouchers. Plenty of restaurants nearby. A nice walk to the Lake Bolsena. The room was fairly comfortable, very clean. Large bathroom, very clean. "If you're looking for quiet and seclusion, this is a great spot. The indoor thermal pool was nice for a half hour or so soak. We had a car and had just come from Sorano and Sovana...would highly recommend both towns. I think there was a walking trail near the hotel, but it was rainy so we decided to drive 45 minutes to Saturnia to the public thermal cascade...fabulous (and free)!!!.
