This is a quaint property from a bygone era that sits well in it's picturesque location which is a positive, however don't expect latest modern amenities. The leisure facilities are a very welcomed bonus. Only let down by the poor quality dining experience - limited options and very bland, disappointing food. Definately an area for improvement in an otherwise enjoyable stay.

Building appearance is a bit tired looking. Rooms although large and spacious were very basic. But very clean. However website photos are deceiving. Expedia and bespoke both show photos of superior room that’s doesn’t match what’s actually provided. However, the bed was very comfortable with great sleep. Breakfast and morning staff were exceptional. We would recommend it and would go back 👍
