I wasn’t thrilled the rental was on a second floor when I had my dogs. Pets, unfortunately, tend to move freely and I thought the guests on the first floor below us may have been annoyed with that. I also didn’t like having to haul our luggage up many stairs, including heavy video equipment I brought with me for this scheduled trip to attend an event.
I also received many emails and text messages reminding me about the trip; and overlooked that the instructions said our entrance was in the front street level of the home. When I called the owner about the keyless code entry not working, the property rental contact was a bit condescending in reminding me that it was expressly mentioned in the instructions. Overall, the home was clean, but bedsheets had stains, indicating they didn’t wash them after renting to a prior renter. Some of the floor return vents were full of debris (i.e. in the kitchen). I also was disappointed there was no stove. Nonetheless, it suited our needs despite some expectations not met. So, it is what it is. If the opportunity were to arise again, we’d use the property if it were available.
