"Breakfast was good but could be a little chaotic at busy times. Would prefer more non-buffet options at lunchtime (the bar does have a small but acceptable menu). "Had a really lovely stay at the Arrayanes Plays Hotel. The room was great with a really comfortable bed. The balcony provided a beautiful view across the bay with amazing sunrises. The pool was a good size with great views too. The staff were very friendly & helpful throughout my stsy"

"The property was a little tricky to find. It needs a satnav for sure, as it is set back off a busy road. At first it takes you to the banquet, conference rooms, which we're totally empty & eerily quiet upon arrival. The hotel is off to the right of this. The hotel itself is overlooking the sea & my room had great sea views. The pool area is nice too. In places it looks a little tired but the room was nice, bed comfortable & area very peaceful. I would stay again"

"It was a great stay, the staff were very friendly, the pool and gardens were attractive and well kept. Playa del Maro beach is a hidden gem and about half hours walk, and the caves are 200m away from the hotel, both a must visit. I felt very chilled out staying there. Big thank you to the staff. "

"Pepe Mesa is perfectly situated for exploring Nerja and enjoying the beaches and bars. WElcomed by a lovely team on reception, rooms are clean and well-equipped. Plus there's a lovely roof terrace with views of the sea and mountains behind. Lovely stay! thank you!"

"Our stay was great. I would recommend this hotel! Very walkable to bus, sites and restaurants! Ladies at the desk were very kind and welcoming! Allowed us to store luggage before and after check in/out! Best bed I’ve ever slept in Europe!!!!! Nice balcony. No refrigerator but that was ok. We would stay again! Very clean!!!!!"

"We had a wonderful visit to Nerja and stay. The Hostel was in a great location for restaurants and coffee shops and the bus station. We loved our room and the staff were always welcoming and friendly. Would highly recommend and would stay there again "

"it was okay but when I was looking for a hotel in Nerva, this one popped up. So I booked. Little did I know it was not in Nerva but in Maro, so that was a little deceiving, had to change a few things right there, was of course no way to look for something in Nerva directly, so we stayed"

"Our flight was delayed leaving the UK, so everything was delayed. We knew the hotel reception was due to close at 23:00 and we thought we might be right up against it, so rang Hotel Los Arcos as soon as we had collected our bags to let them know the situation and again once we were on the road. Wonderful Views

"Initially we thought the photographs showed the property in a better light than upon inspection. However this feeling wore off during our stay. The heated pool was great, although the manual cover was a bit of a pain to pull over each night. Didn’t use the hot tub or the sauna, more than happy to lay outside in the sunshine with occasional dips into the pool. However, some of the sun beds need replacing, the webbing has stretched to the extent that your back is resting on the metal support bars making it very uncomfortable. Property is well stocked with pots, pans and cutlery Disappointed with what was left in the property as a starter pack….2 dishwasher tablets, no kitchen roll, no salt and pepper etc…this means buying a dishwasher tablet pack with 30 tablets only 10 were used, and a salt and pepper grinder, which was left behind……I expect this will not be left for the next holiday makers, who will have to start over. Finally, disappointed with the TV set up, not that we wanted to watch much, Champions League final would of been nice…flipped through 201 channels only 2 in English 1 of those a children’s programme and no football."
