Staff was not fluent bilingually Spanish/English. Very difficult to ask about services or even get the process for getting a towel. Booked through third party service so didnt feel as if we were one of the establishments customers. Not having immediate access to pool towels was a 1st for us on a luxury vacation.

Ive been to this place before, the place is the best in playa del carmen. I always vacation at playa del carmen and ive been to these penthouses before and they will keep me coming back. Best beach best penthouses and best service. Greatly appreciate all staff that make this possible. If you are traveling with family and are looking for the most cormfortable and clean place to stay and at the center of all the action (day and night) this is where you need to book. Dont think about it just go ahead and book i promise you will not regret. Ill be back in october with my family. Everyone loves the place (kids and adults)

Pros: Beautiful condo, with private pool overlooking the ocean on the top. While the beach is not on the property, it is one minute walk away. Lots of room to entertain guests on the rooftop (although visiting hours end quite early). House keeping came every day and refreshed all the towels which was nice. Cons: check in process a bit cumbersome, air conditioning blows right on the bed, we had to turn it off to sleep. An extra towel rack would have been helpful to dry our beach gear.

Worst hotel ever

The hotel smells wet, the AC is super loud. The lighting is deemed, super understaffed. The valet and house keeper are rude, and not willing to help. The ceiling is rusted and the towels are dirty. The bedsheets were smelly too. Not recommended

Avoid the standard Jr Suite

Stayed in a standard Jr Suite Street View for one night after having stayed in one of the larger rooms with a private rooftop years ago. The standard Jr Suite was right beside the men’s washroom by the pool area and it smelled like an old dirty urinal. Very unpleasant. I would have complained if we stayed longer than one night, but since we were out most of the day we let it be. It was a very strong and noticeable smell though. Also, the side light to the bed was broken and we found a dried rose petal in our bed which worried us that the sheets hadn’t been cleaned properly between visits. The sight of handprints on the headboard of the bed also gave us gross thoughts of what may have happened with the previous guests. All in all we were disappointed by this room.

El lugar es muy bonito y el departamento impecable. El check in estuvo terrible ya que el personal de la divina nos tuvo casi una hora esperando respuesta por WhatsApp para que nos dieran el acceso. Las instrucciones de pre check in nunca se nos enviaron hasta que ya estábamos adentro del departamento, deberían de estar más atentos cuando es hora de check in, muy mala experiencia.

Muy conveniente para viajar en familia, con acceso inmediato a la playa (y al mamitas beach club, que te da descuento por hospedarte en Aldea Thai). La piscina privada y la piscina de la Aldea le encantó a toda la familia. A corta distancia esta la 5ta avenida con muchas opciones de restaurantes.

Caotico el registro.

Complicado, el ingreso fue caótico, y poco servicial, realmente mala experiencia.. el personal de recepción amables, pero ellos no controlan los accesos, sino otro personal externo que da la instrucción y en lugar de que este todo listo, hacen esperar mucho para este tramite.
