"We stayed here for the entire month of April 2024 and enjoyed the house. During the driest and hottest month in CR, the refreshing pool and reliable AC was appreciated. The home was comfortable and modern, and the outdoor area covered. The living area is all outside like many homes in Costa Rica. "This property was built exactly as the pictures show. You can hear the ocean waves with the doors and windows closed. There is an A/C wall unit in each room and not in the open living space. The breeze blows through the house well with the windows open. This is how it was when I arrived. The waves and breeze, just beautiful. "BUYER BEWARE No hot water and beach is dirty. I contacted Vacasa before confirming reservation to verify had hot water due to previous review. I was told I would have hot water but never did. The pool water was warmer than the shower. The company was notified as soon as we knew there was no hot water. Beach is very dirty due to ships waiting to get into port and dumping garbage while waiting. We did see monkeys and birds which were beautiful. Sorry for the bad review I tried to work with you."

People in area were kind to us but be aware it is a very rough area- notice there are no pics of the area out front of the apartment , that’s prob for good reason, would scare most people away .
