"LIKE A WARM EMBRACE (Heather and Andrew from Australia) My husband and I stayed for three nights in June, and it was a highlight of our trip in Croatia. The care from Matija, Dora and Marco was outstanding, as was the venison stew. The wine list and the food choices were exceptional, and if you went out on your daily expedition hungry then that was definitely not a breakfast catering issue. The room was very comfortable and clean, and the host family ensured your comfort needs were met. The local knowledge of Plitvice Lakes was also a highlight, with Matija providing a suggested itinerary for exploring the national park (access to the park is via gate three - a relatively easy walking distance from Villa Sumrak). Highly recommend this venue to stay. "

Cute outdoor lounging area. Overall 4/5… would have given a 5 if there was a bottle of cold water in fridge to welcome us, however the room was nice and cool. "
