"It was nice to have 6 restaurants within a block of the hotel. The quaint downtown area was 2 short blocks away. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We used the valet service so parking for us was not an issue. "

The restaurant staff was great, the rooms were well attended to, and the ocean views were spectacular! I want to extend a huge shout out to JERRY. Before we even arrived at the hotel Jerry helped us reserve the rooms that lookout at the beach. He greeted us warmly and knew our names when we arrived. He took our pictures in front of the Christmas tree and was always at the ready! The people who work at Ashworth By the Sea made the difference between a good time and a great time."

"Had a lovely stay! This hotel is beautiful and homey. Very close to everything you need in Salem. Small heads up there are no fridges in the room so plan to eat your leftovers day of. Overall, awesome!"

"It's not their fault, but it's basically in the middle of nowhere lol. But it's very calm and quiet and clean. Staff was nice and amazing. I very much will go back despite it being further away from everything."
