With doors at each end, the open-plan living space is full of light; there’s a Smart TV in the lounge area, while the elegant kitchen has everything you’ll need for home-cooked holiday meals and faces a striking dining table with bench seating. A door leads into the first of the three bedrooms – this ground-floor room has an en-suite bathroom while the two upstairs each have an en-suite shower. Enhancing your comfort and convenience, each bedroom has its own Smart TV and a zip-and-link bed which can, on request, be made up as two singles instead of one super-king-size. For a dose of fresh Devon air, simply open the glazed doors from the lounge and step into your private garden, where there’s a small lawn and furnished patio. The end of the garden is bordered by a hedge and animals graze in the fields beyond – enjoy the view along with your morning cuppa. There is private parking for one car with additional parking in the adjacent pub car park, subject to availability.
This village of Down Thomas is close to several of the South Hams’ best beaches – Bovisand is 1 mile away, and if you’re in the mood for a leg-stretching walk, you can follow the South West Coast Path from here to Wembury. Less than 6 miles away, Plymouth is home to the nation’s largest aquarium and has a rich maritime heritage.
