"The apartment itself was pretty good. Excellent bathroom and a large lounge. It would be good to have some furniture on the balcony. The surrounding area is quiet and a fair distance from any shops or restaurants. The staff, when you could get hold of them. We were staying in Nevers for the motorcycle world championship at nearby Magny Cours. Three days here is long enough."

"The apartment was spotlessly clean and well-equipped. The view was beautiful and bed was comfy.. We had a problem getting into the property as we did not receive the codes. After 2 phone calls, the caretaker gave us the codes to get in. It seems like there was a problem with Expedia. "

"The mill was everything we expected and is just so beautiful . The gardens were perfect for our little dog to explore. The host Leopoldine was extremely friendly and helpful and speaks very good English , and was great at recommending places to eat . "

"We all enjoyed our stay at the Les Tramois. The cottage is really charming and is set in a beautiful location. There are horses, a donkey, peacocks, fish, hens… Our children loved interacting with the animals, jumping into a huge paddling pool as well as doing archery and bouncing on a trampoline. Lots to do for the young! There is a nice woody walk and a well equipped charcoal bbq. Fabien is a wonderful unobtrusive but very helpful host. Thank you for having us!"

"The house is stunning, lots of space inside and well equipped. Lovely gardens, the front with a beautiful view of the river and with morning sun, the back of the property with a terrace and big table, BBQ area wonderful meadow and pool. Must return!"

"We loved our time at Champallement which is a very pretty village in beautiful countryside. Our host was extremely helpful prior to arrival and the house is just as described in the listing. Comfortable beds, high quality dishwasher and washing machine, a good garden for us and our dogs (though a determined dog could escape quite easily). Kitchen was well equipped but small for more than one person. Very good shower. Fantastic dog walks all around and lakes for swimming just 15 minutes away...

"Un accueil simple et efficace. La location est très bien dimensionné pour le nombre de personnes prévues. Tout les équipements (cuisine, loisirs, SdB, chambres, salon) sont en parfait état. "Nice hotel, great staff, clean and comfortable. Large bathroom and I noticed as we left they were installing overhead rain showers. The only slight thing was we arrived on Sunday and the hotel restaurant was closed as was most restaurants. But we ate at a restaurant called the metro around 20 minutes walk away which was fine."

Great budget hotel

"We stayed one night on the way to the south of France. Hotel was perfect for a stopover. Very clean with lovely staff. Rooms are functional but bed was comfy and shower was hot. Excellent breakfast. We drove into Nevers and walked along the river. Filled with petrol at the local supermarket and ate at a pizza restaurant just down the road. "

"It’s a cute property—small and quaint. The breakfast area is a cute alcove down in a basement whose surroundings look like a cave. Too cute. There’s kinda like a spiraling stairway down and then up again so a person with severe disabilities may not be able to partake in the complimentary breakfast unless someone fixes a plate and takes it upstairs in the lobby area. Did not like that there was no refrigerator in room for my meds and no ice machines. Clerk had to get me a bowl of ice from somewhere. "
