"My best friend and I went on a weekend away here and the intent of our getaway was to relax and destress from all the busyness we were experiencing lately. This place did just that! Faboulous views, services, amenities. We had a few encounters with kangaroos in our surroundings, had a massage and facial and did meditation on the mediation hill which is easily accessible from all the villas. I highly recommend! "

"Good family facility well appointed room, farm for kids, lawn games, great food coffee beverage and lovely staff. Beware check in if you do not have a physical plastic card (it’s 2024 resort!). We didn’t. Had paid in full upfront. Don’t accept digital cards, wouldn’t put deposit on card, wanted cash! Was 30 mins of ringing banks and credit card company to get full card number before we could check in. Not ideal after a road trip with a 1 and 3 year old. Thought at one point we would have to go home even though as I said before we had paid up front in full. At least tell guests in advance you want an actual card or cash and that you don’t accept tap and go!"

"We felt that only one hook in bathroom for towels was inadequate.... a comfortable chair in the room would have been nice......plenty of room for one! We left one day early due to prediction of local flooding expected in our home town. Because I gave 3 days notice of this i would have liked a refund or part refund!!!"

"We spent 4 nights at Hermitage lodge in the Hunter valley. We had a duplex lodge with a full kitchen, living room, separate upstairs bedroom and bathroom, and balconies on both levels. Everything was immaculate. The location was perfect for visiting the vineyards and town of Cessnock. The lodge looked out over a small vineyard with a forested backdrop. I would definitely recommend Hermitage lodge as a place to stay in the Hunter valley."
