"When I arrived at the accommodation, I called the owner. There was no reply. A car arrived and a woman came to assist me. She states that the owner was away and I could not access the accommodation. She very kindly gave me a lift to a neighbouring town where I found a hotel. "

"The apartment itself was lovely, very impressive. Clean and well laid out. The only issue I have is that I booked the apartment in part because of the facilities - and no where did it mention that the hotel (and therefore the facilities) were closed! So no bar, no cafe, no pool... Having said that, the apartment really was very nice and we'd stay again."

"The property was a little tricky to find. It needs a satnav for sure, as it is set back off a busy road. At first it takes you to the banquet, conference rooms, which we're totally empty & eerily quiet upon arrival. The hotel is off to the right of this. The hotel itself is overlooking the sea & my room had great sea views. The pool area is nice too. In places it looks a little tired but the room was nice, bed comfortable & area very peaceful. "This is a charming B & B in a lovely town. The hosts are extremely helpful, gave us ideas of what to do and see when we were in Granada and where to park. Our room was lovely and breakfast was great. On their recommendation we walked to the local bar down their cobblestone street and had a delightful dinner. Two evenings we were able to sit on the roof and relax and enjoy the events of the day and plan for the next. Lovely people, lovely place."

"Lanjaron is a little tired compared to other towns and villages we visited on our trip. Hotel was clean and tidy, new sealant around the bath required, suite brown (probably lovely in its day) but clean. Bed not great, we could feel the springs popping, not comfy and felt old. Decor plain and old fashioned. The outside was well maintained and a good size pool but we didn’t use. We paid for breakfast which was ok. Value for money, compared to other hotels on our trip, not great. "

"The property is very basic, but clean. It is in a noisy location where there is a lot of noise from the street late at night. In the room you can hear every time someone else in the hotel flushes the toilet or walks around throughout the night, endless noise and we didn’t sleep very much. Having said all that, it was only £37 a night! What do you expect for that price. Overall it served a purpose for 1 night, but we would not return."
