"This hotel is in an amazing location and is beautiful but what stood out the most was the service and attention given to guests. Everyone at the front desk was kind and welcoming. Jose Luis, Isaac, Ariel and the rest of the team really know hospitality and how to treat guests and make you feel welcome. Ana Yancy was also very helpful, professional and kind. "I enjoyed my stay at Nayal Lodge. It is a 2 minute walk to the beach and you can see a beautiful sunset from the beachfront. I appreciate the cozy nature of the Lodge with only 4 rooms for a quiet and peaceful experience. "If you are a backpacker this might be okay for you, but was bad for us. The rooms are extremely hot with no AC and a small fan that does nothing. Leon is the hottest city in the country, and also breakfast was not included in room price. Cannot recommend, although staff seemed friendly and location was good."

"First off, nobody speaks any English, so make sure your Spanish is good. The rooms, furniture and fixtures were highly used at best. There was only intermittent water made available for drinking and I had to go to the nearby hostel to fill my water bottle.
