"The hotel & staff were first class. The spa treatments excellent but a bit expensive. The food was outstanding. The room with a sea view was amazing, every night we had a fantastic view of the sunset in Feb!! The sister hotel opposite served excellent food too. The only downside for us was the state of the car park which looked rather scrappy on arrival & rather let the hotel down."

"A bit off the beaten track with the last 2 miles being up a single vehicle road but the effort to get there is rewarded with the isolation that one can enjoy. "Cam was amazing and made me feel very welcome. The room is for 1 or a couple and had everything you need. The is no restaurant but the Nags head was a 5 min walk away. Breakfast was very relaxing and delicious. Bow the new poodle was adorable and very entertaining. "

"Couldn't really fault for the price paid. Modern and spotless. Good location for the town, and very friendly helpful staff. All good. Nice boozer too. Public parking around the corner - and its free! Downside is its often full during the day - better to wait until after 5pm if you can. There are plenty of other parking options around the town. All personal preference - but a later check out would have been nice; we are not 10am people!"

"This was our second stay and reminded us why we loved it the first time. The house is comfortable, the room spacious and the decor tasteful. We slept well on a comfortable bed and all the usuals in terms of tea and coffee were there along with a nice sized fridge if you wanted to put the champagne on ice.
