Great location but basic, smoky hotel
The Tatramonti is in an excellent location, close to the centre of Poprad and great restaurants. It's a 15 min walk to the train station and is an easy spot to do day trips around the area. The rooms are large but basic. Pillows are terrible and lumpy and the hallways were full of smoke. The smoke comes up from the smoking room downstairs and could also be smelled in the rooms. The hotel is cheap and reasonable but I wouldn't stay again as it's so smoky. Ask for a kettle if you want one.

Perfect location. The value for the room offered was incredible. Compared to other locations in the area, this was superb with a great room size, shower, beds, etc.
