"We enjoyed a quite outstanding evening meal cooked by the owner. It was original and delicious. The hotel itself was quirky, albeit in a good way. Old fashioned and probably in need of a facelift; but as a taste of rural France, hard to beat. "

The chateau itself is a lovely building in a beautiful setting and is furnished with an eclectic mix of antique and modern. Atmosphere is relaxed and informal. We didn’t have time to use the spa facilities but will do next time we visit."

Not a hotel but a guest house in a refinished and vibrantly appointed (200 year-old?) historical home newly acquired and attentively managed by Sandra, Michael and son Valentin who were the most welcoming, engaging and thoughtful hosts imaginable. "We had a great stay at this lovely Chateaux situated next to the Dordogne River. It was well located for our visits to the right bank and left bank wine tours, as well as Bordeaux. Lots of good restaurants within a 15 -20 min drive from the property"
