Whiskey Creek Beach NW has exquisite views of the Straight of Juan De Fuca. This tent site is situated only feet from the beautiful pebble beach with expansive views of the Canadian Cascades on Vancouver Island. Mount Baker is visible as well. *note: You are able to drive up approx. 75-80 yrds from this site to unload, and parking for beach shelter sites(T11-14) are up a hill. *No parking at this site.*We have many tent sites so if the dates you are looking for are already taken, please give us a call about availability. We also have waterfront cabins and full hookup RV spaces.

This primitive tent site includes a picnic table and a fire-pit as well as access to fresh water.

There are a couple port-a-potties on the property. One on the beach for easy access. *Showers are no longer available*

Located just 25 minutes outside Port Angeles, our guests can enjoy the serenity and beauty of the Olympic Peninsula with easy access to town and some of the best hiking, hunting, fishing and exploring you will ever find. There is so much to do in and around the Olympic National Forest, so take your time and enjoy your stay!

Nearby Olympic National Park entrances like the Sol Duc, Hurricane Ridge, Hoh Rain Forest, Cape Flattery make this location an excellent "base camp" from which you can explore the Olympic Peninsula and towns like Forks, Neah Bay and beaches like Shi Shi Beach and Hobuck Beach. Explore the parks, walk the rivers (Dungeness, Elwha and many more), kayak on Lake Crescent or drop right in the Strait from our private boat ramp. During the Winter and Fall, enjoy the true nature of the Pacific Northwest: observe the high tides, storm surges and occasional dense marine fog from the comfort of your cozy cabin. You are going to love this place!

Unbelievably beautiful location
Campground was in an absolutely gorgeous location and it was very clean with close access to a clean porta-potty. Perfectly close to salt creek recreation. Tide goes out early in the morning and you can access some cool tide pools right outside your tent too! Super close to Joyce and its charming general goods store. Thank you for letting us camp on this amazing property, we will definitely be back again! Lots of love and a 10/10 from your friends in Montana :)

Beautiful location!
This place was beautiful and well managed. Safe, clean, with several cabins and tent spots across the property. The view from the site was incredible and the location can’t be beat. Bathrooms and amenities were clean and nice. I had a little trouble checking in because my welcome information email got stuck unsent, but I was able to get ahold of the host for the entry code reasonably quickly. I had a great time and will definitely be back.

Near water and outhouse on private property
This tent site is near the outhouse but you have to park far away. Not ideal for car camping with a tent and carrying all your necessary items that far like tent, sleeping and cooking items and food. Was pretty muddy but had wood deck to setup tent- very slick when wet- be careful. Critters were roaming the beach when dark.

Absolutely Beautiful
This was by far one of the best camping locations. Our stay on the t12 campsite was gorgeous. Campsite came with comfortable chairs and fire pit to protect fire from wind. It was also a very short walk to bathrooms, running water, and shower. I highly recommend this location.

Absolutely loved it and will be back
We LOVED our stay. This is a perfect quiet get away from it all kind of place. The beach is amazing and literally right under your tent. It is rustic, which makes it even more special since there are not that many places left that allow you to connect to the nature. All activities-attractions will require about 1h drive out through beautiful scenery, but the campsite itself is so beautiful you might want to just stay and enjoy the views, the sounds of the ocean and beach combing. Word of advice: bring a canopy. Even if you don’t believe in extras while camping you will appreciate one over your cooking area. Our first day was constant drizzle, which was super annoying while trying to cook, and in that area it’s literally a constant possibility. We will be better prepared next time as we are planning on coming back to this special spot many more times.

Beautiful beach front campground!
The resort is well maintained and has beautiful views! We had a perfect sunset from our campsite on the beach and we really enjoyed our stay. The tent sites have everything you could want from a campground- flat wooden platforms for patching a tent, chairs, picnic table, and a fire pit. Beautiful place to stay and we’ll worth the money!

Strikingly Beautiful! Highly recommend tent camping here if you don’t mind a somewhat rustic experience (slot toilet, no running water). Hosts are kind and well organized, and the property is well maintained. Don’t agree with earlier review complaining about the sound of the ocean. I have been beach camping many places and the sound of the waves is not louder at this beach.. Don’t go to the forest and complain that there are trees and don’t go to the beach and complain about the sound of waves :-)!

Stunning Views
My husband and I had an amazing time camping on the Strait of Juan De Fuca with our small dog. The views were gorgeous in every direction, and we enjoyed the seclusion of being on the end site of the campground (T12). The sound of the waves was a wonderful lullaby, but if you don't like white noise you may want to choose one of the tent sites more inland as the waves will be right next to your tent at high tide. Tim is an excellent host, and we can't wait to return!

You better love the sound of the ocean!
Lovely site! We had site 12 which is the last site so no one is walking through your space. I appreciated that. This is fairly primitive camping: pit toilet, no showers, so be prepared. And the ocean is loud!! I do admit that was a little difficult to manage, so I used earplugs. I believe the owner's kids checked us in, unless Tim is only 13 years old. However, he did a great job, as did his little sister. Thanks for the experience.

Beautiful Beachfront Campsites
My wife and I had a great time camping for two nights at Whiskey Creek Beach. The campsites are as close as you can get to the Strait of Juan de Fuca without getting wet, and they present great "tidepooling" opportunities if you get your timing right. The owners are very helpful and kind as well. I would recommend this destination to anyone. P.S. The fire pits are amazing!

A beautiful location with helpful and friendly hosts!
Overall it was a lovely place! The view is amazing and the hosts were very helpful and friendly! The sunsets were stunning, it was awesome to walk around during low tide and search for sea creature, there were very few bugs at the site, and our dog loved exploring the beach and campsite. There we're a few things we weren't expecting. We had to walk all of our stuff a fair distance to set up camp. We had the furthest campsite, but I guess we thought we'd be able to park our car at the site, like you can in a campground. We also weren't expecting the waves to be so loud - especiallly when the tide was coming in. Sometimes it was a little hard to carry on a conversation with the noise. I'm not sure it is always like that or just weather related but we should have considered this when picking out a site right on the water. All in all, we would recommend trying this place out!

Camped in a tent spot with amazing beachfront/ocean view. Saw two bald eagles. Felt secluded but safe. Rare find. Will camp here again for future adventures
