The perfect bungalow
I absolutely loved staying at Bear Necessities. I was in need of time to myself and this simple bungalow immediately felt like home. The kitchen is well appointed with everything a cook might need. Including various spices, oils and a basic selection of canned and dry goods. Much more than I expected. I cooked three of the four nights of my stay. The patio is just as perfect. I sat out there for every meal. The Queen sized bed is quite comfortable and is equipped with my favorite brand of pillows. It is a certainty that I will recommend Bear Necessities to anyone that asks. And if I ever return to Mexico Beach I will be checking the app for availability. Thank you for a wonderful experience.

Perfect
Bear necessities was the perfect place to stay. The house was just the right size and very clean and everything we could possibly need was there plus more. We loved sitting in the outdoor area in the afternoons and the outdoor shower was great after a day at the beach. There was even a golf cart we could use. The location was close to the beach and places to eat. We will definitely be back next year!

Peaceful sanctuary!
Just the right size and location to unwind and rejuvenate. The beach was very close and it was easy to navigate the area. I appreciated the chance to get away and enjoy the sand, sun and seafood in the area. I highly recommend this cute little gem. Definitely would stay there again.

Our favorite getaway!
We always love staying at Bear Necessities for our annual "end of Summer" getaway. It has everything you need! We especially love the outdoor area and taking the golf cart on sunset cruises or for a quick trip to the nearby market. The location is the best! The beaches are never crowded. It's our little slice of heaven! Can't wait to go back!

Great things come in small packages!
I can’t say enough about this beach rental. It’s small exterior is definitely deceiving. Inside the unit it is spacious, perfectly designed, and beautifully decorated! Anything and everything we could possibly need, and more, was provided. The beach is only a few blocks away which is even easier to access thanks to the complimentary golf cart. I’m not sure if my girls enjoyed the beach more or our leisurely rides on the golf cart. The owner was always quick to respond and very helpful and kind. We will definitely be returning, and I highly recommend to future vacationers. You will not me disappointed!!

Cottage at the beach
This was a very nice cottage , clean and comfortable. I literally felt like I was in my best friends guest house . I have never been so comfortable in anyone’s home as I was in this one .I would recommend this to anyone that is looking for accommodations for a couple or small family, it has a comfortable Queen bed and nice comfy bunk beds . It is only 4 very short blocks to the beach if you want to walk , there are many boardwalks to walk down to the beach .

Gem near the beach
This home is very welcoming and all a person needs. The inside is nicely decorated and has all the furnishings anyone would desire. Beds are comfortable, amenities are plentiful, the bathroom is very modern and there is a washer/dryer. Bonus space is outside, nice area to cook, read, drink coffee or just relax. Speaking of relaxing, if you want to go to the beach they have everything a person needs. This home is close to the beach and the listing is exactly as described. I highly recommend and I look forward to returning as this place is a “gem”.

This beach house is cozy, inviting, convenient, quiet, easy access in and out, has all appliances and cooking gadgets and cookware and tableware that you would need. The patio is a sweet treat for outdoor sitting. The beds are comfy and clean. TV package has many options to choose from. The outdoor shower is a treat to have for an extra bathing option, it is well designed for privacy. Mexico Beach is a small quaint town. That looks like a setting of a movie. There is a great fresh seafood business that has a very good variety and great prices. My family and I so enjoy this beach house and the quaint town. Give it a try. It just might become a go to place for your beach “fix”.

Relaxing stay at Mexico Beach
This property really does have it all! The owners have gone to thoughtful lengths to ensure anyone staying here has everything they might need while at the beach. The property was perfect - everyone (me, my husband, and our teenage son) was thrilled with the layout and the location. There is a great vibe at this place -we will definitely be coming back!

My partner and I had a fabulous time at the beach and loved this location. It is a very easy 3-block walk to the beach, and the golf cart was perfect for easily getting around the quiet little town of Mexico Beach. The perfect place for a quiet getaway with my man. The pictures online don’t do it justice. It’s such a nice place. You have everything you need and it’s updated and modern. Beautiful patio and outside shower. Wonderful vacation
My husband and I loved the cottage, it was perfect for our vacation. Denise was great to work with and attenive to any questions we had. The cottage is an easy walk to the beach. The beach was beautiful and uncrowded. We had not been to Mexico Beach before, and hope this trip is the first of many to come.

Perfect family getaway!
We loved Bear Necessities! The location was great. Nice neighborhood roads and only a few blocks walk to the beach. We enjoyed taking the golf car to the Mexico Beach market for a few items we didn't pack (charcoal, butter, etc.) The patio and grill were fabulous. We enjoyed meals and happy hour outdoors with a nice breeze. The house itself was exactly what our family of 3 and 7 month old puppy needed. Plenty of room and our daughter loved the bunk beds. The dog crate fit perfectly under the stairs for the bunk beds and was out of the way. The kitchen included everything you would need to cook any type of meal. We can't wait to come back to Bear Necessities and stay longer!
