Treat your family and friends to a quintessential Pacific Northwest getaway at this three-bedroom Port Townsend retreat, a dog-friendly home with a spacious front porch, a breathtaking bayfront location, and access to a beautiful pebble beach.

This two-level home is situated on the high banks of Discovery Bay, an inlet of the Strait of Juan de Fuca at the mouth of Puget Sound, offering views of both the water and the mountains. It's across the street from a staircase to the beach, 15 miles from the Victorian waterfront of Port Townsend, and 16 miles from Sequim.

With hardwood floors and lovely craftsman details, this home is warm and welcoming after an outdoor adventure. Warm your feet by the gas fireplace, choose a DVD to watch on the TV (please be advised that there is no cable service), or challenge your friends to a board game.

Begin each morning in the full kitchen, which offers stainless steel appliances, a dishwasher, a waffle iron, and other extra culinary tools. Enjoy breakfast as a family in the window-lined dining room before heading out the door for a morning walk on the beach.

Spend your days relaxing on the front porch, reading in one of the lounge chairs, or preparing the charcoal grill and patio table for a barbecue lunch. Two dogs are also welcome to join you here, but please note that there is an 80-lb weight limit.

This three-bedroom, three-bathroom home will sleep as many as six guests. Upstairs, there is a master bedroom with a queen-size bed and a guest room with a twin day bed and trundle. On the main floor, you'll find one bedroom with a queen bed just off the living room.

Additional amenities include WiFi throughout the home, a claw foot tub in one of the bathrooms, and a private washer/dryer for your salty beach clothes.

With a rich history and a stunning location in the northeastern reaches of the Olympic Peninsula, Port Townsend is a wonderful escape for outdoor enthusiasts. Rent a kayak from Port Townsend Watersports, take a walking tour of the historic district, pack a picnic to bring along to Fort Worden State Park, or hop a ferry for a scenic day trip to Whidbey Island just across the sound.

An awe-inspiring region will be at your fingertips - reserve your stay at this Port Townsend home today!

Great Location on the Water
Great home for a family of 5. Being able to walk down to the water was a dream come true. We went to celebrate my wife’s 40th birthday. We went to the national park every and a different beach every day. Really enjoyed out stay at this property.

The dishwasher was broken when we checked in. Contacted Vacasa but no one showed up to fix it. Wish they would cut back some of the brush in front to get a little nicer view of the water. Otherwise we always enjoy staying at the property.

Great Getaway
We had a wonderful time and enjoyed a much needed girls weekend. I took a star away because the stairs down to the beach had several broken. Made it a little treacherous for us. But if those were fixed it would be 5 stars!

Lovely waterfront home perched on the bluffs above Discovery Bay
Rental process was seamless, and the property manager was timely attentive to repairs. This property overlooks, through the trees, Discovery Bay. With reasonable proximity to Port Townsend and to Sequim, one can also explore Olympic trails.

Beautiful property & stocked with lots of extras to make our trip effortless. Living room couch is uncomfortable, but house is well designed & cute. Know that the stairs to the beach are intense- you will feel the burn coming back up. Overall, nicest property we’ve rented.

Long weekend in December
The house and setting are beautiful. Everything was as described. The wi-fi, kitchen light and lights next to the door weren't working when we arrived (which was early evening), but the management responded quickly and sent a crew the next morning. Everything worked perfectly. Loved the fireplace - it was especially welcome on the chilly mornings. We would stay here again.

Lovely location and responsive property managers
Was great... water, birds, fall colors! Layout nice. Fireplace a plus. Porch nice. A few things need a little TLC at the property: couch pillows torn, dining room wall dirty, one bed's bedding corner torn up, t.p. holder coming out of the wall, oven door didn't fully close.

The best part of this property is the view from the porch. We were dismayed as to how poorly this property was maintained. 1. There was a partially consumed water bottle left by the housekeeping team on the porch. 2. The cottage was stuffy and had an odd smell when we entered. 3. There were smelly towels that were left in the hamper upstairs in the master bedroom. 4. A pillowcase with brown stains, sheets and towels left in the dryer. 4. Dining room so sticky that our elbows stuck to it. Not what we were expecting…all the dishes and flatware had to be washed on our first day.

Fun, quiet stay!
This was a cute little house on the bay. It was quiet with many birds, trees, and greenery. There were several things that needed repaired in the home- the fireplace doors were broken, the oven door did not close, and the back door had to be forcefully closed in order to lock. We gave the home a good cleaning when we arrived- dog poop in the front yard area, kitchen floor hadn’t been mopped in awhile, sheets had hair in them (multiple beds), rug in living room had pet stains on it. After doing this, it was a great stay. To get to the home, you have to go down a very narrow driveway past other homes. The neighbor next door was out several times. He had to move in order for us to get by. If you have to come and go alot, neighbor may get irritated!

Awesome Time!!
This house was a perfect stay. Close in proximity to the many places in Washington. Mountain Biking in Port Gamble is 25 mins away, Seattle a quick ferry ride, Poulsbo an hour away, and the downtown of Port Townsend is 20 mins from the house. This house was furnished greatly with what seemed to be a brand new SmartTV. Wi-Fi worked great all week and cozying up by the fire place was a highlight of the nights we stayed. The stairs lead down to the private beach right on the bay, providing views and swimming that cannot be beat. The beds in the rooms are comfy, and the pillows are amazing. The kitchen is a full kitchen with a full sized fridge, which holds plenty of beer and seafood. Absolutely loved this place and will definitely be coming back soon!

Cozy Cabin in the Bay!
This cabin was an amazing get away for our family. We stayed here for the first weekend of our Seattle trip so we could be closer to the Olympic National park area. It’s a quick drive to Port Angeles and Port Townsend, and we drove a little farther out west to Rialto Beach and La Push for some hiking (definitely recommend hiking the beach to Mora’s “Hole in the Wall” if your group is able- just check that you can go at low tide!). The cabin was the perfect size for our group of six, and the primary guest room is huge- with an even bigger en-suite. The walk down the stairs to the beach was beautiful at sunset- just be ready for the hike back up- it’s a lot of steps!! We loved our time here- it’s a beautiful house and location to introduce you to the area!

The property was not cleaned very well. The oven door was broken and the light bulbs for the light over the stove were out. We had to get the light bulbs ourselves. The bathroom door in the upper bathroom did not work. The stay was good but the cleaning needs to be better.

Beautiful property
Beautiful setting. I would stay there again. Steep stairs to walk down to beach; no real beach access except within the boundaries of the property. Surrounded by a lovely woods; nice neighbors. Cleaning people did not do a good job in preparation; utensils were still greasy; dust bunny piles under the beds. Despite all this, everything was quite usable and we left the dishes and utensils cleaner than we found them! Cooking spices in the cabinet; wahoo! Bathrooms were clean; fixtures dated as were the cooking utensils; extensive dishes that came in handy for cooking and eating. Grill was unusable because two propane tanks were empty. I leave these criticisms to help the owners/managers, but would highly recommend the property. My buddies were very appreciative too.
