This is a delightful hotel right in the heart of Pt Townsend. All the heritage features of the building have been maintained making this a unique hotel experience. Our room was spacious, comfortable and well furnished. My only complainants are the wifi was pretty poor and the TV is pretty small, especially given the size of the room and the distance to the bed.

Great place. Right down town in port Townsend, easily walkable. The room was really nice, well decorated and very spacious. Had kitchen amenities as well. I would definitely stay again.

We liked the location and good effort at preserving a landmark. We didn't like the stairs! Two floors how tough could it be? They say up front that they don't have an elevator but they don't say that the flights of stairs are long and straight up. So we are capable of doing the stairs but with suitcases it becomes a real chore for the 70 year old couple. It's also dangerous. They do not have a bellhop! I can't believe they don't have a freight elevator to handle the baggage. If they do it wasn't offered to us.

Knowing the history behind the building, it was like stepping back in time. The only thing that I did not like was the smell of the town, but once the wind started, the smell went away.

Liked the historic aspects of the building and the furniture. Quite unique. With that comes some limitations - bed was a bit rickety. Main concern was noisy garbage collection outside the window which started at 7:00 am and went on for close to an hour. Not strictly the hotel, but they should try to get the town to move the collection site somewhere away from the hotel.

One of the best and most unique hotels I’ve stayed in. lovely and communicative staff. diverse and charming rooms that are well appointed and comfy. Perfect location for enjoying all the town has to offer. the staff even shipped us some clothes we left behind. it was the perfect spot for our anniversary trip.

Great old facility. Classy, images of the past. We had an apartment? huge, clean, quiet, kitchen, bedroom, living room and very large sink in bathroom. Will remember this place for a long time.

This is a hotel that was built over a hundred years ago, but whoever decorated it was clueless and had no taste. It was decorated with period looking correct furniture, but everything else was cheesy. The bed was the absolute worst I have ever slept on, and gave us terrible back pain. You would think with what they are charging, that they would at least invest in a decent mattress. Words cant convey how terrible the mattress was! Then there was the email I received from property management two days prior to checkin, informing me that the building doesnt have an elevator (stairs only), and all of its rooms do not have HVAC heating or cooling, but they had fans. The fan was a $20 noisy box fan from walmart - not even a ceiling fan! This info should be in the main listing, so you know this before booking. We had already left and were on our vacation with three luggage bags, so the night before, I had to re-organize all our bags so we only had to take one bag up. There are other nicer hotels to stay in over this place.
