"We only stayed 3 nights but our stay was just perfect. Its a beautiful spot and only a short taxi trip to most places. It is getting renovated, but the essentials are still open- pool which most of the time we had to ourselves. "Really felt it wasnt up to Resort Standards in terms of the accomadation, crockery wasnt cleaned, i had to clean it myself before i could the kitchen area inside the room, very outdated rooms in all areas... air con unit was very much ineffective to where it was set in the room.. Way it was advertise was very much misleading when i arrive... breakfast was hugely dissapointing,, breakfast baffet wasnt up to standards esp resort standards, choices was very limited...."

"I cannot rave enough about how fantastic this Resort is. I am totally amazed at the beautiful, friendly, accommodating and absolutely fantastic service we received from all the staff. The villa we stayed in was exceptional, I have stayed in many places and this is at the top of the list. "Lovely stay at Fatumaru Lodge, parts bit dated as expected but all in all was ok for the price. Power problems persisted in our unit the whole visit with power going off every now and again but staff quickly reacted turning it back on. Would suspects too much of a load on the mains power. Hot water in shower was a bit of a trick to master but once you got the knack of it you could have a great shower. Would recommend asking for unit Walla which was upstairs but great private view towards Port...

"The Hotel and location are great, our issue was that next door to the hotel is a shipping dock and a shipyard, a barge was continuously running a bilge pump, and the ship yard continuously banging on the hull renovating an old ship, in turn very noisy during the day and night especially if out on the balcony."

"The room we had was lovely, they are a good size and we had a nice view. Breakfasts are good, decent range of food. The location was great, just catch the free ferry and you and in the ‘city’. The resort was nice and staff were lovely. Pls remember this is a developing country, not everything is always easily accessible. If you can remember that you will have a great time. "
