"The hotel is lovely and the staff were wonderful. We stayed in the family suite which was spacious and well appointed but had no windows or outdoor space so you felt like you were in a cave. The breakfast was delicious but came 30 minutes late and we had were rushing out the door. We did not feel safe in Palermo, our room had a crazy security system which also contributed to our unease. The city is very run down with many stray animals and homeless. We ended up leaving a day early. "
