This apartment was perfect for our 3 week stay in Portland. It is very convenient to groceries, restaurants, cafes and everything Portland has to offer. It has all of the amenities you need, including a building gym, kitchen, in unit laundry.

Great location bad customer service
The location of this unit is fantastic! Everything is within walking distance, including a small grocery store across the street. We spent the weekend in Portland to celebrate our anniversary and found everything from a spa to restaurants, all within a 15 min walk. The unit is small but a good size for two people. It is well stocked with everything you would need for a short-term stay. Now for the cons, the communication from the host is the worst I’ve experienced. They rely on pre-constructed emails and messages that don’t answer your questions. I attempted to reach out to them twice with questions, and both times I was ignored. The parking was also a big challenge. The pre-constructed messages will tell you that you have to park on the street, but they will fail to mention the signs that say 2 or 4-hour limits on the parking. If you arrive at night, it is hard to see the signs that say the restrictions are from 9 AM to 7 PM. They also don’t mention that the “Smart” parking lots referenced in the pre-constructed messages are, at best hard to find on google, maps, or any other app. It would have been extremely helpful to know that I could have downloaded the “ParkingKitty” app to help manage the parking fees between the hours of 9 AM to 7 PM. All in all, it was a great stay after the stress of the parking situation was resolved, and I was able to research on my own the answers to my questions.

Underwhelming Stay
The unit was very clean and listed correctly. However, it lacked a lot of basics and was a bit disappointing overall. There were no scissors, the toaster only toasted one side of the bread, and the toaster itself got crazy hot on the outside. The heating unit was very loud and sleeping on the pull out couch, it woke us up. There was no plug for the bathtub; we have kids so we had to put a washcloth to plug the tub for baths. There were no instructions for checkout beside a time. So it was unclear what to do with towels, bedding, dishes, thermostat etc. We tried to see what type of coffee maker there was to bring the right kind. But couldn’t find any information. We are not from Portland and not familiar with street parking. We knew that this location was street parking but not knowing the rules around the place added an extra level of stress. The place was what was advertised and clean and ready when we arrived. The instructions on how to get the key were great. But there was nothing special about it and it lacked a perineal home touch. The additional information that was lacking would have been very helpful. Due to the unclear information we also made the mistake of thinking there were two beds, not one bed and a pull out couch. I would of rather stayed in a hotel in the city.

Nice building in a Walkable Neighborhood
Easy to check in. Clean and safe home with ample supplies. Enjoyed the buildings gym and recreation room. The neighborhood was quiet and the food options were varied-all within walking distance. Had no trouble finding parking each night at the lot on Pettygrove and 21st Street. Paid each day through the app. Would stay here again!

Beautiful Apartment in the Pearl
Clean, stylish, and extremely comfortable. I absolutely loved this little apartment in NW. Perfectly located blocks from New Season’s grocery store, 23rd shopping area full of restaurants and bars, and the beautiful forest park for walks and hikes in nature. Perfect weekend place
Nice, small, clean apartment in a perfect location. The building is great. Mostly young professionals. Coffee shop in the lobby. But location is the best. Lots of great restaurants and shops all within walking distance. And very convenient to the highway for other travel. Street parking was easy for us.

Brand new hip but small apartment in great location
This Portland apartment is brand new, fully IKEA outfitted unit about 6 blocks from shopping district on NW23rd Avenue. The unit has a full wall of windows overlooking a common area so it's very light and bright. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything needed to cook meals and a high end grocery store is right across the street. The unit is small, especially the "bedroom" which is essentially in a nook barely larger than the bed with a barn door to separate it from the living room. Important to note that there is NO parking provided with the apartment and street parking is limited to 4 hours ($1.60 per hour) during the day. Location is fantastic! There are many restaurants and cafes nearby and the trolley runs along 23rd to take you downtown.

We are.senior citizens. We read your description in the vrbo listing, it stated you had,,television. To us, this means networks, and tv stations.,we were very disappointed to not have any news, or shows for three nights. If you prefer to only deal with millennial people, so be it, perhaps you should state that. When we arrived, there was an even older couple than us, who had a lot of difficulty navigating your lockbox and check in system...btw the lock boxes are to the right of the elevators, not to the left. Also, you need to be way more specific about parking....we,ended up getting a ticket as we were advised by a lady on the main floor we could park across the street in the large lot for free. I am a vrbo owner, I have been doing this for six years, my renters, NEVER, have any questions, upon arrival or otherwise as we have provided a detailed manual for our guests. Again, we love the location, the suite was ok...you need anther comfortable big chair.

Fantastic apartment and great location!!
We found the apartment and surrounding area to be very comfortable. The apartment was a perfect size for my husband and I (plus our 4 month old daughter). It was clean, nicely decorated, and had great amenities. The neighborhood was also very nice. There were plenty of places to walk to for meals if we wanted. There is also a great market across the street from the building which was covenient. Overall we were very pleased with everything! Thank you Vacasa!
