The Inn of Peaks Island was absolutely wonderful! The manager Jason was unbelievable! He went out of his way to make our stay PERFECT! He is a great communicator, gracious, fun and gave us all the information we needed. The Inn is only 1 block from the ferry landing. The restaurant at the Inn was closed, and there were only a few different options to eat on the island, but they were all great. The Unruly Girls Cafe had a delicious breakfast burrito, Th Cockeyed Gull restaurant offered a delicious Haddock sandwich. The room was clean, the bed very comfortable, shower was hot, and a very, very quiet stay! The island was in full fall beauty. The cemetery was cool and the 1942 bunker was interestingly all graffitied up. Jason was the BEST!

Disappointed as had high hopes and had initially enjoyed my stay. The area is beautiful and quiet. The hotel is small, one member of staff and just a few rooms, so you think very personal. The whole review and stay was soured by the after service which was atrocious. The issue was initially our fault. We left a jacket worth £1000 in a bedroom for our daughter to wear. She forgot to put it on, we didn’t notice and of course left the island. We noticed within 24hrs and contacted the hotel. Response was slow, we had to chase and each response was that they would contact housekeeping. They only responded a few times with the same message and then stopped. They weren’t interested even though we could tell them everything about the jacket and where exactly it was left in the locked room. I kept transcripts of the conversation and the lack of help and responses in caee of the hotel replying to this to evidence their lack of care and effort to help. I would avoid the hotel or any connected to the company as clearly they haven’t bothered to try to find it or even worse whoever working in the hotel who found it has stolen it given it’s worth so the staff are dishonest.

Keep expectations low.
Expect to be unimpressed. Most I’ve ever paid for a hotel room. Expected certain minimal amenities but was disappointed. Loud window air conditioner going all night. Wanted ice, more coffee for the coffee maker etc and there was no one to be found. Very few restaurants or bars. Pp

We arrived at 530pm and it took 30 mins to find someone to checkin. Then they were very rude and short . Towels in the room had skid marks on them . No ice machine even though ice bucket was in the room. No vending machines to get snacks late night or at any time
