This place epitomizes "you get what you pay for." I was excited to be visiting Portland for the first time as a speaker for an event. All other aspects of my trip went off without any issues, but the stay at Sojourn nearly dampened the whole trip for me. Between the dirty hallways, filthy mattresses, and lack of shuttle availability, I will not inconvenience myself again by coming back or recommending this place to anyone looking for a decent room. Even today, as I searched the website for this hotel, I found that there is a restaurant and shuttle, which were not available during my stay.

This property is still in the process of changing ownership . The rooms were somewhat bare bones due to this. Room was clean, they have the top floor being repaired so if you don't want anyone above you request a 3 floor room. the tv in the sitting area did not work and when i mentioned it to the front desk staff they said that the 2nd tv's were being removed in the next few months. one odd thing was when i got to the room, every drawer and cabinet was open and pulled out. Not sure if that is a new cleaning thing or if they forgot the close them all.

I had no issue with the motel. Expedia however caused me a4 hour check in. The website is confusing and difficult to navigate. If you want to book with sojourn suites do it direct. They will match any 3rd party price that is quoted for their rooms and the half is considerably less..
